"Last nights class was awesome. It was all coming from a completely different way of thinking than we've been taught before  and makes alot of sense to me and apparently Tally, who stayed engaged for much more of the class. She was loose lead walking round the room. The jumping up is genius! She doesn't often jump up at us at home but does when she's wound up.Once she's reliable with us I'm going to put a plea out on facebook to get friends round to train her with strangers."

Puppy Socialisation

Our puppy socialisation sessions are run over 4 weeks and focus on socialising your puppy - although we prefer the term stress inoculation. Puppies get to socialise with each other in a safe environment to learn vital social skills, plus get used to every day objects like hats, masks, hoods etc - THIS IS COVID DEPENDANT AS WE CAN'T SHARE PROPS AT THE MOMENT. We also cover some puppy basics, like sit, down and stand, Starting to learn recall from other dogs, we also go through, biting, toileting, sleeping and husbandry and grooming. We are also here to answer any questions you may have about basic puppy problems.

This course is available to all puppies under 6 months old.

Using positive, reward based methods, with the focus on building a good relationship with your dog, our syllabuses have been formulated because of our experience of what works to make great companion dog. We believe in training an exercise because it makes the experience of living with a companion dog much more pleasurable.

We also offer a range of outdoor workshops and social walks which we recommend that you attend to help your dog generalise the training to the places which really matter!

Our classes are run by Dale who is a qualified and accredited trainer . We reserve the right to cancel a course if there is not enough attendees, in the event this happens you will be offered an alternative course or a credit valid for 6 months.

If the instructor is unwell we reserve the right to transfer the session to another date, in this situation a credit for that class will be offered for use against a future class in the following 6 months.

Please be on time for your class, if you are late we cannot guarantee we will have time to catch you up during the session.

Please exercise your dog before you come to classes, a dog with too much energy in the class will have difficulty concentrating.

Please don't give your dog all of its dinner before you come to class, if your dog has a full belly you may have difficulty motivating your dog during class. If the session is a very active class your dog will be very uncomfortable if they have a full belly, and this can also lead to intestinal problems - exercising on a full belly is never good for your dog.

If your dog toilets in the hall or outside of the hall it is your responsibility to clean up after your dog. Please make sure that you clean up after your dog wherever they toilet

Do not dispose of any toileting waste in the bins inside the venues, please take it home with you.

If your dog is ill please do not bring them to class, please come without your dog so that you do not miss the session.

If you miss a session we do not have time to catch you up during the next class, if you do want to catch up please book a one to one.

If you cannot make a session please make sure you let the instructors know.

Children are welcome at classes, but we would ask that they behave and do not disrupt the others in the group. If they are disruptive you may be asked to leave classes or not to bring them.

If you are bringing children to the class please make sure that you have enough adults at the class to supervise your dog and children.

Please do not let your children run around the hall. It is a dog training class not a playground

Please turn your mobile phone off or to silent. Being on your phone in class means you are not concentrating on your dog.

Do not interact with the instructors dogs who are tethered in class, they are not there to play with, they are there to demonstrate should the instructors need them.

If your dog is aggressive the ONLY class they are able to attend is the Bark Class - if your dog is aggressive our other classes are not suitable for your dog. If you are unsure please contact Dale.

Classes are not a social outing for your dog so please do not let your dogs play whilst in class, unless instructed to do so by the instructor.

Please don't talk while the Instructor is speaking, each session is only 45 minutes, so it is important the Instructor can impart the information to you quickly so that you have maximum practice time.

While waiting for your class to start please keep your dogs under control, we have neighbours to the venues and we have to respect this.

Do not enter the main classroom until you are invited in, we often have other classes running before yours.

While waiting to be invited in please ensure you give enough room for the previous class to leave the hall without blocking their exit path. Your dog might be friendly, but the dogs leaving the class might not be!
